TEXAS ARMOR ASSOCIATION BATTLEFIELD
The Texas Armor Association is a Radio-Controlled model tank organization located in Monaville, Texas at the famous BOMBER FIELD facility!
This outdoor battlefield will challenge any tankers skill to negotiate the terrain and operate in a battle while avoiding incoming fire! The terrain is hilly and rolling. There are few straight or clear shots! Our Battlefield is for the exclusive use of TAA MEMBERS and our guests!
Tank Battlefield Details:
The facility is called Bomberfield and it features:
7200 sqft Outdoor Multi-terrain Battlefield for R/C TANKS! 3 Bridges, Forest, Towns, Warehouses, river bed, Hangar, TUNNEL, Industrial area, and Operational G-SCALE TRAIN. Challenges the best of the best R/C TANK Drivers ability to drive, shoot and scoot!!!!
Our Battlefield Rules Are Simple…
- RUN WHAT YOU BRING
- Stock or modified speeds/scale gearboxes are fine, we do NOT measure for scale speeds and Do Not require you to slow your stock tanks down…
- As long as your tank can register and give hits from Tamiya IR Systems then you qualify to battle in all main events.
- Be fair, No cheating with blocking your TBU , No crying that someone elses tank is faster or not slow enough (once he or she is hit they will slow down anyway).
BOMBERFIELD EVENT GENERAL INFORMATION:
During TEXAS ARMOR and BOMBERFIELD EVENTS Food, Beverages, Souveniers are available on site. Caps and T-shirts and raffle drawings are also offered. Fee for Sacntioned events are $20.00 ENTRY FEE FOR R/C PILOTS and R/C TANK DRIVERS which covers you for the entire event. Campers welcome, no hook ups. We do have fresh water. Hangar on site to store planes for overnighters. Early arrivals welcome to get some early TANKING and FLYING in. ALL PLANES will fly the pattern unless authorized before hand to help prevent any mid-airs. Thanks for the cooperation. Vendor area available for $25 (1 day or for all 3) Area size is approximately 15′X16′. Please call 713-857-4108 for reservations. MOST EVENTS are held Fri-Sat unless otherwise noted. Times for events are usually Fri. 9am-5pm, Sat. 9am-5pm, and Sun. 9am-2pm. SPECTATOR ADMISSION: 5.00 adults and 12 and under free.

Sanctioned EVENTs are in compliance with AMA FREQUENCY RULES… THIS MEANS ONLY TANK RADIOS ALLOWED at this event are those on SURFACE FREQUENCIES or 2.4Ghz Spread Spectrum Radios. We are sharing the facility with R/C Aircraft that are flying and operating at the same time as us so they are all on AIR FREQUENCIES/CHANNELS as well as 2.4 GhZ!
